Scarves From 28 Cities

Returning to her home in Melbourne after a 12-month holiday abroad, Mrs. Donald Speed said yesterday that she had obtained 28 scarves overseas, one from each of the larger cities that she had visited. Miss Barbara Speed, who met her mother at Bombay, was wearing a large silk scarf patterned with champagne labels from every country. Her mother had given her this.

"I do not think the short hair styles will last for the older woman," Mrs. Speed said. "It is not flattering to them, although it suits most young girls."
