Application for Direction Adjourned

In the Civil Court, yesterday. Mr. Justice Napier adjourned an application for direction concerning the period at which certain bequests under the will of the late Mr. John Bastard, of Port Adelaide, post and telegraph master, were vested in the beneficiaries names. Mr. Bastard died in June 1908.

Mr. H B. Piper appeared for the Executor Trustee and Agency Co. of S.A. Ltd. (trustees under the will and applicants in the present case),

Mr. Eric Millhouse for Mrs. Guenther (a daughter of the testator),

M.C.H. Powers for Bertram Philip Lower (a son of a deceased daughter of the testator),

Mr A. M. Moulden for Adelaide Elizabeth Bastard (the executrix of Thomas D Bastard a son of the testator),

and Mr. Kevin Ward for Frederick John Baxter a grandson of the testator).
