I the Undersigned Ann Bebbington of Edge in the Parish of Malpas and County of Chester Spinster do make this my last Will in manner following namely I give and and [sic] bequeath (after my death) the interest arrising [sic] from any sum or sums of money which I may now have out or hereafter may lend either on Notes, bonds, or mortgage of freehold securities in any bank or otherwise in my own possession to my Sister Martha Acton for and during the term of her natural life And from and after her decease the interest and principal sum or sums of money I give and bequeath together with all other property to my Niece Elizabeth Eaton her heirs executors administrators or assigns And lastly I hereby appoint my said Sister Martha Acton and Niece Elizabeth Eaton Executrixes to this my Will desiring them to defray my funeral expenses as well as testamentary out of such monies as they or the survivor of them may find belonging to me after my death In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this first day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty three --- Ann Bebbington LS --- Signed sealed published and declared as and for the last Will of the before named Ann Bebbington in our presence and we at her request have witnessed her signature and signed the same in her presence and in the presence of each other, the day and year above written --- Thomas Williams --- Thomas Griffith
In Her Majesty's Court of Probate, The District Registry at Chester In the Goods of Ann Bebbington Spinster deceased, I Thomas Griffith of the City of Chester Gentleman make oath that I am one of the subscribing witnesses to the last Will and Testament of Ann Bebbington late of Edge in the Parish of Malpas in the County of Chester spinster deceased, the said being now hereunto annexed bearing date the first day of August 1853 and that the said testatrix executed the said Will on the day of the date thereof by signing her name at the foot or end thereof as the same now appears thereon in the presence of me and of Thomas Williams the subscribed Witness thereto both of us being present at the same time and we thereupon attested and subscribed the said Will in the presence of the said testatrix --- Thos. Griffith --- Sworn at the City of Chester on the twenty fourth day of May 1864 Before me, Charles W [?] Parry District Registrar.

On the 24th day of May 1864, the Will of Ann Bebbington late of Edge in the Parish of Malpas in the County of Chester Spinster deceased was proved by the oath of Elizabeth Mullock Wife of Richard Mullock (formerly Elizabeth Eaton Spinster) the Niece of the said deceased one of the Executrixes named in the said Will having been first sworn duly to administer, power being reserved of making the like Grant to Martha Acton Widow the Sister of the said deceased the other Executrix therein named.
