There apparently was a short note at the end of her original Will written by George Bebbington, confirming that he acknowledged that he had read over and assented to the Will, signed by George Bebbington, and witnessed by the same witnesses as to her Will.


HM High Court of Justice appended a note:
that "Mary Bebbington (heretofore Arscott Widow and afterwards Wife of George Bebbington) formerly of Barthomley but late of Crewe", died on 4th February 1879 at Crewe, "having at the time of her death a fixed place of abode at Crewe".

"Since the ninth day of August 1870 but during her coverture with the said George Bebbington the said deceased became possessed of or entitled to certain proprietary shares fully paid up in a joint Stock Company or Undertaking called the Dee Bridge Trust"

"the said deceased survived her husband . . . . and died a Widow without having altered revoked or reexecuted her said Will"

Probate of "all such personal estate as she the said deceased had a right to dispose of accordingly but no further or otherwise was granted by the aforesaid Court to the said John Arscott of Slaughter Hill Crewe"

Dated 27th January 1880

"Personal estate under 300 pounds. No Leaseholds"
