WAUKU AGRICULTURAL SHOW

WAUKU, Wednesday, 5 p m

I arrived here about 10 o'clock to day, and found a large number of the settlers gathered to witness the show. The attendance is considered by the committee to be very satisfactory. The sbow was held at the sale yards, and was opened to the public at noon. Everthing connected with the show was successfully carried out by the following Committe of Management - President J. Bin Brown, Esq. Vice president E. Constable, Esq. Treasurer C. Hosking, Esq. Committee Messrs. W. Flavell, J. Hedge, C. T. Bunbill, S. Hodge, jun , G. H. Selby, W.H. Bunbill, C. H. Green, J. Bunball. S. Bunball, secretary.

The judges of stock were Messrs. J. H. Wright, of Pukekohe West; D Bayley, Remuen ; and G Hawke, Ramarama. The judges of produce were Messrs. W. J. Hurst, Auckland; John May, Tamaki; R. Udy, Lpsom; and N. Close, Auckland. All these gentlemen accomplished then allotted taskes in a highly satisfactory and efficient manner. There was a considerible muster of settlers from Wauku and surrounding districts, as will as many visitors from Auckland
