VISIT TO IPSWICH

On Thursday last a large party of the members of our Mechanics' Institute, and their friends, paid a visit to some of the public institutions and great establishments of the county town of Ipswich. ....

The company then bent their steps to the exhibition of paintings, drawings, and sculpture, in connection with the recently established Suffolk Fine Arts Association, and spent some time in examining this very respectable gallery of art, which is displayed in the commodious and well-proportioned hall recently built for the Mechanics's Institute. ...
