MOTIONS TO SET ASIDE BANKRUPTCY NOTICE.

These were motions on behalf of Edwin Calvert Bishop, storekeeper, of Maclean, to set aside the bankruptcy notices served upon him by Johnson Bros, and Co., Ltd., of Bridge-road, Stanmore; Gillespie Bros., Ltd., of Union-street, Pyrmont; Scott, Honderson, and Co., Ltd., of Young-street, Sydney; D. and W. Murray, Ltd., of York and Clarence streets, Sydney; and Foley Bros., Ltd., of Sussex-street, Sydney, in respect of the sums of £114/7/, £173/18/6, £72/13/11, £474/16/9, and £180/12/, the amounts of final Judgments, respectively, obtained by them against the applicant on June 10, 1927. Mr. Wyndham Davies (instructed by Mr. T. McL. Lobban, of Maclean, by his Sydney agents, Messrs. Lobban, Lobban, and Harney), appeared for the applicant; and Mr. Abrahams (instructed by Messrs. Dawson, Waldron, Edwards, and Nicholls) represented the respondents.

His Honor dismissed the whole of the motions with costs.
