A Thursday Wedding

Marriage was celebrated in St John's Cathedral, Kalgoorlie, on Thursday, of eBtty [sic] Dorothea, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Fowler, of Hanbury-st., Kalgoorlie, to Stanley Norman, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. D. N. Box, of North Perth.

Ceremony was performed by Ven Archdeacon G. S. Coxon.

Satin and floral-embroidered lace were chosen for the bridal gown, with high neckline, long peaked sleeves, very full skirt and lace insertions in ihe train. The bride wore an orange blossom halo securing satin-embroidered trailer veil of tulle.

Mrs. Maureen Fussell, Chirstina (sister of the bride) and Ethel LeBoydre were the bride's attendants. They wore off-the-shoulder lace tuile over taffeta in mauve, pink and blue respectively, with mustles, and with picture hats to match. Bride's cousin, 5 - y - o Pamela Plower, was frocked the same in pale green.

Don Box, brother of the 'groom, was best man and the groomsmen were Ron Fussell and Brian Box.

Mr. S. C. Fussell, sen., chaired thc reception in the town hall banquet room, where 120 guests were entertained.

Mr. and Mrs. Box, who are now honeymooning at Yanchep, intend to make their home in Boulder. For her going-away outfit, the bride chose heavy green moss crepe, with square collar and pockets trimmed with white beads.
