I MET a fine, wholesome-looking young Royal Australian Navy man yesterday with his father. Mr. Bill Brennan, manager of Wirryilka station, out from Broken Hill, and part-owner of Siam station, west of Port Augusta.
He has the appropriate name of Rex, for he was in the RAN only four months and had the great privilege of being in the thick of the fight at Leyte in HMAS Australia.
What I like about Rex was his modest silence!
