The 1865 Census lists two John Broadbents.
The ages of the family members in Kendall County are consistent with the ages of John Broadbent's family with the exception of his "wife".
The ages of the adults in Cook County are inconsistent with John Broadbent and his wife, and there is only one child. However, this would seem to agree with the information in the Chicago Street Directories for that period.
