Richard S. Broadbent.
Services for Richard S. Broadbent, retired Illinois Central railroad engineer, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the chapel at 1023 North California avenue. Mr. Broadbent was 83 years old. He died Wednesday in his home at 2533 Haddon avenue, where he had lived for 53 years.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ida Langless and Mrs. Hattie Hanke; a son, Policeman Frank Broadbent of the detective bureau; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
