Served in Norway spring 1940 (left Apr 1940, landed Harstad 15 Apr 1940, evacuated 8 Jun 1940). Assigned XI Corps Jun 1940 (as 229th (West Riding) Army Field Coy RE). Assigned Jul 1942 to 2nd GHQTRE [with V CTRE in 1944]. Disbanded Sep 1945+.
