WEDDING

A pretty wedding took place on Tuesday last at St. Michael's Church, when Miss Elizabeth Maud Paddy, only daughter of Mr and Mrs A. H. Paddy, of Edgeware Eoad, St. Albans, was married to Mr Andreas Christensen, of St. Albans. The Rev. P. Haggitt was the officiating minister. Mr Davis Hunt presided at the organ, and at the close of the service played Mendelssohn's Wedding March. The bride's dress was of white silk poplin, trimmed with white satin, and she wore a cap and veil, with a spray of orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet of white rosebuds, Madonna lilies, and sweet peas. The bridesmaids were Misses Bessie Thomas and Eva Roper, who wore dresses of white voile, with pink hats, and carried bouquets of sweet peas. The groomsmen were Messrs C. Neilson and F. M. Paddy. A reception was afterwards held at the Ridgley Hall, when a large number of guests were present.
