CLARA O'NEIL RITES SATURDAY CHARLEVOIX - Funeral services for Mrs. Clara O'Neil, 93, who died Wednesday in Muskegon, will be 10 a.m. Saturday from the Winchester Funeral Home. Rev. William Seibert of the Community Cnhurch of God will officiate and interment will be in Brookside Cemetery.
She was born Clara Coomber in Bradford, England August 24,1879. She married Fred Gornell in England in 1900 and they came to Charlevoix in 1908. He died in 1918. In 1919 she married James Whitley, who died in 1934. Then in 1937 she married James O'Neil who preceded her in death in 1940.
In 1944 Mrs. O'Neill moved to Muskegon and had lived there and in Benton Harbor before going to live with a daughter, Mrs. Effie Doctor, in Muskegon in 1970.
Survivors include
two daughters:
Mrs. Doctor of Muskegon and
Mrs. Ellen Southland,
of Cape Coral, Florida:
three grandchildren:
seven step-grandchildren;
six great grand-children;
two great, great grandchildren and
several great step-grandchildren.
