All of the documents are forms designed to record his military career. These containing information entered by hand.
The transcripts attempt to record the layout of the original forms, without striving excessively to retain it. Some of the handwitten text can not be deciphered.
In the transcripts handwritten text should appear like this paragraph.
A copy of Ernest's records exists in both the WWI Pension and the WWI Service Records. The transcripts are based on the Pension Record. The Service Record is one of the "Burnt Records" and much of the edge of each sheet is missing. However, the Service Record appears to be identical.
