Pedro Espejo, 85, of Hilo, Hawai'i, died May 13, 2009. Born in the Philippines. Retired former Hilo Coast Processing Co. lab analyst; helped to start the Salvation Army Homeless Feeding Program.
Survived by sons, Douglas, Ernest and Patrick; daughters, Janice Bondallian, Paulette Cainglit, Francine Ross and Darlene; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Visitation 5 to 6 p.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo; celebration of life 6 p.m. Casual attire.
