Two Bucks County brothers were struck by a car on an icy patch of Route 32 after they got out of their own vehicle which had slid on the road along the Delaware River early yesterday.
David Farnish, 23, of Trevose is in guarded condition with head injuries in the intensive care unit of Doylestown Hospital.
Michael Farnish, 24, also from Trevose, is in satisfactory condition with a fractured pelvis.
State police at Dublin said the two men reported that their car slid on Route 32 in Plumstead Township and became disabled.
They were standing outside the car when both were knocked down by another vehicle driven by James Pomel Jr., 26, of Milford R.1, N.J. Police said Pomel also lost control on the ice.
The accident occurred at 3:50 a.m. about a mile south of Point Pleasant Pike. The injured men were taken to the hospital by Point Pleasant Ambulance.
