That Michael Foster late of Leeds in the County of York Labourer on the fifth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty eight with force and arms at the parish of Leeds in the Borough of Leeds in the County of York One Cloth Coat of the value of two pounds and One Satin Waistcoat of the value of one pound of the goods and chattels of Joseph Foster then and there found then and there feloniously did steal take and carry away against the peace of our said Lady the Queen her Crown and Dignity

Michael Foster having upon his arraignment pleaded guilty to an Indictment for Larceny by him committed on the fifth July one thousand eight hundred and forty eight within the said Borough of Leeds It is ordered that the said Michael Foster for his said offence be imprisoned and kept to hard labour in the House of Correction in and for the said Borough of Leeds for the space of four Calendar months from the date of sentence
