A bazaar and garden fete was held at Drummoyne in aid of the Travelling Kitchen Fund, in the grounds of Mr. Alexander Watts, "Macduff," Tranmere Street. There was a liberal display of bunting, and a profitable afternoon was experienced. Mrs. T. Henley opened the function, which was organised by Mrs. P. E. Greig. A musical programme, arranged by Mr. Polkingborne, was provided, and helped to make the fete a success, while all the stallholders did good business. A substantial sum is expected to accrue as the result of the effort.
