A fete, organised by Mrs. P. E. Greig, in aid of the fund for the purchase of a travelling kitchen for the Australian Expeditionary Force, was held Macduff, Drummoyne, on Saturday afternoon, the house and grounds being lent for the occasion by Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Watt. The stalls were presided over as follows:- Fancy stall, Mrs. and Miss Davenport; Christmas tree, Mrs. Barrett and Miss Bessie Watt; refreshments, Mesdames Watt, Kay, McCourt, Downey, and Zeend, and Miss Shearer; flowers, Mrs. Wedding; produce, Mesdames Snowball, F. Wilkinson, and Millen, and Miss Langley; sweets, the Misses Ezold and Sherrin; cakes, Mrs. Perdriau.
