This is the last Will & Testament of me William Hawten of Morton Pinkney in the County of Northampton Weaver.

I give and devise to my son Henry Hawten All that House Butchers Shop Outbuildings Yard Garden and Premises in Morton Pinkney aforesaid now in his occupation as Tenant thereof to me To hold to him for the term of his natural life and from and after his decease I give and devise the same to my Grandson William Hawten his Heirs and Assigns for ever.

I give devise and bequeath to my son Thomas Hawten All that House now divided in to three Tenements and the Gardens and Outbuildings and Premises thereunto adjoining or therewith occupied situate in Lower End Green in Morton Pinkney aforesaid.

And also all that Plot of Ground lying in Back Lane Morton Pinkney To hold to him his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns according to the several Tenures thereof subject to the Rent payable thereunto and to the payment of five pounds to my Grand Daughter Elizabeth Hawten, so soon as she shall have attained the age of twenty one years.

And I give devise and bequeath to my son Edward Hawten All that the Dwelling House Shop Garden and Premises now in my occupation To hold to him his Heirs and Assigns for ever subject to the payment of the mortgage now subsisting thereon

and I also give and devise to the said Edward Hawten All that Dwelling House with the Garden and Appurtenances thereunto belonging, now in the occupation of my son Thomas Hawten for the term of twenty six years from the date of this my will if he shall so long live to and for his own proper use and benefit and subject thereto I give and devise the same to my Grandson James Hawten his Heirs and Assigns for ever.

And I give and bequeath all my stock in Trade, Furniture Live Stock and all the rest and residue of my Estate and Effects whatsoever unto my son Edward Hawten his Executors Administrators and Assigns for his own absolute use and benefit.

And I nominate and appoint the said Edward Hawten to be the sole Executor of this my last Will, and revoking all other Wills, I do declare this to be my last Will and Testament dated the eighth day of October 1820.

Signed Sealed published and declared by the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of ys who in his presence and in the presence of each other have herewith set our names as witnesses

On the 25th Day of February 1822 Edward Hawten of Morton Pinkney the son and sole Executor named in the written Will was then Sworn well & faithfully to fulfil the same according to the Law, and that the Goods, Chattels & Credits of the within named deceased do not amount in vlaue to the Sum of £200
