Thomas Hawten the elder of Moreton Pinkney being in good health of Body.

First and principally I commend my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my Maker

Unto my loving wife Hester Hawtin £20

To my eldest son and his wife Thomas Hawtin and Ann Hawtin the sume of two shillings and sixpence a peece

To my youngest son Henery Hawtin all my Cottage, House or Tenement and outhouses, stables, yeards, orchard and Cloasse being in Moreton Pinkney and all the Croop that shall be standing or groing at the time of my decease, also two premises lying and being in the Open or Common fields of Moreton Pinkney

All the Rest and Residue to my two Daughters Hester Hawtin and Elizabeth Hawtin
