NOTICE is hereby given, that the following is a copy of the entry made in the book kept by the Chief Registrar of the Court of Bankruptcy for the Registration of Trust Deeds for the benefit of Creditors, Composition, and Inspectorship Deeds executed by a Debtor, as required by the Bankruptcy Act, 1861, secs. 187, 192, 194, 196, and 198:

Title of Deed, whether Deed of Assignment. Compositior, or Inspectorship - Composition.

Date of Deed - 28th day of September, 1864.

Date of execution by Debtor - 28th day of September, 1864.

The name and description the Debtor as in the Deed - John Calvert Hayes, of Leeds, in the county of York, Corn Factor.

The names and descriptions of the Trustees or other parties to the Deed not including the Creditors - Isaac Burkill, of Leeds aforesaid, Corn Factor, of the second part; and the several other persons whose names are subscribed and seals are affixed, and who are described in the first schedule to the said deed, of the third part; and the several other persons whose names are set out, and who are described in the second schedule to the said deed, of the fourth part.

A short statement of the nature of the Deed - Whereby, the said Isaac Burkill covenants with the parties thereto of the third and fourth parts, that he will pay, or cause to be paid, to the said parties, on the 20th day of October next, the sum of five shillings in the pound, and, on the 20th day of November next, the further sum of two shillings and sixpence in the pound on their respective debts on demand, made by them respectively. And the said John Calvert Hayes covenants with the same parties to pay, or cause to be paid, the sum of one shilling and sixpence in the pound upon the amount of their respective debts, and for securing which he had delivered to the said parties of the second and third parts, and tendered to the said parties of the fourth part, his promissory notes, payable on the 1st day of February, 1865; and the parties thereto of the third and fourth parts covenant to accept the said composition of seven shillings and sixpence in the pound, to be paid by the said Isaac Burkill, and of one shilling and sixpence in the pound, to be paid by the said John Calvert Hayes; and to release the said John Calvert Hayes, by deed, from the amount of their respective debts.

When left for Registration - 19th October, 1864, at two o'clock.
