SOUTHINGTON - David Kloczko, 19, of 247 Old Turnpike Rd., passed away Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009, at home.
He was born Aug. 8, 1990, in Meriden son of David and Lynn (Everly) Kloczko. He was a 2008 graduate of Wilcox Technical School and was attending Tunxis College. He had been employed at Stop & Shop in Southington. He recently started his own business, D & S Detailing. David loved Buick LeSabres, Pontiacs and Bonneville cars, Computers, Kirby vacuum cleaners, tractors, lawnmowers and snowblowers. He had a brilliant mechanical mind. He was always helping people of all ages and was loved by many employees and customers at Stop & Shop. He was a parishioner of St. Aloysius Church.
Besides his parents, he is survived by
a brother who he loved very dearly, Gregory Kloczko of Southington;
his paternal grandmother, Mary Kloczko "Babcia" who he called "Bop" of Southington who he had a special bond with;
his Aunt MaryAnn and Uncle Daniel Repoli of Glastonbury;
Uncle Al Rapoza of New Jersey;
and Uncle Chester and Aunt Sharon Kloczko of New Hartford;
his cousins,
Tara and
Geoff Lund and their children,
Sierra and
Cameron,
Kyle Repoli,
Lori and
Glenn Formica and their
children, Taylor and
Cole,
Brian and
Jen Rapoza,
Michael, Mark and Katherine Kloczko;
and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents,
Clyde and
Mary Everly;
and his paternal grandfather, Chester Kloczko and Aunt
Patricia Rapoza.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:15 a.m.from DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. and 10 a.m. at Aloysius Church. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made in his memory to the Catholic Family Service, 61 Colony St., Meriden, CT 06450.
