Alleged Forgery by a Late Parliamentary Candidate

Mr. Nehemiah Learoyd, solicitor, late Conservative candidate for Boston borough, was charged at the Bow-street Police-court, London, on Tuesday, with forging two affidavits for use in the Queen's Bench Division. The Treasury authorities prosecuted, and Mr George Lewis defended. - Dr Sutton, of Finsbury-square, was examined, and said that the defendant was in such a condition of health that it would be dangerous for him to attend in court. He could attend in a week. - The magistrates accordingly adjourned the summons.
