Mr. Nehemiah Learoyd, of Albion-chambers, Moorgate-street, was charged at the Bow-street yesterday under two summonses with having forged and uttered two affidavits, used, or intended to be used, in the Queen's Bench Division of the High Court of Justice, well knowing the same to be forged. - Mr . Mead prosecuted, instructed by Mr. Batchelor, on behalf of the Treasury; Mr George Lewis appeared for the defendant, and called Dr Sutton, of Finsbury-pavement, who proved that the defendant was in such a condition of health that it would be dangerous for him to attend the court. He was subject to epileptic fits. - In reply to Mr, Mead, the witness stated that the defendant was staying at the Great Eastern Hotel, Liverpool-street, as the witness had advised him to go there instead of going home on Monday night. He would be able to attend in a week. - Mr. Vaughan accordingly adjourned the summons.
