To the Nobility, Gentry, and others, (patients of the late Dr. MAYERSBACH) Gentlemen of the Army and Navy, and the Public at large
Mrs. MAYERSBACH, Widow and Executrix of the late celebrated Dr. MAYERSBACH, being, by his bequest, the sole possessor of all his valuable prescriptions, has selected some of the most infallibly efficacious, which are prepared with the most scrupulous exactness. It will be unnecessary to enlarge on the virtues of these different medicines, the very extensive and succesful practice of her late husband during twenty-five years in London, having raised them to an unequalled degree of emminence.
GREEN DROPS, or STOMACH and ANTISCORBUTIC ESSENCE.
The many thousands persons who have experienced the efficacy of this grateful bitter essence in all stomachic complaints, are sufficient proofs of its superiority over all other medicines yet discovered. It removes all disorders of the stomach, assists the digestion, purifies the blood in an eminent degree, restores lost appetite, braces the tremulous nerves, cheers and invigorates the debilitated, gives almost instant relief in sickness and pains in the stomach, and greatly relieves the Gout when it attacks that part; it is a most excellent remedy in the jaundice and agues; and for destroying and preventing the breeding of worms in children nothing ever equalled it.
It ranks inferior to no medicine whatever as an antiscorbutic; the experience of twenty-five years has proved it an invaluable acquisition to seafaring men and others whose situations expose them to damps and fogs, and who, for obvious reasons, are most liable to inveterate scorbutic disorders.
It will keep good for any length of time, in any climate, and does not require any confinement or particular diet.
