Lee Lordi (August 27, 1914 - May 22, 2020)
On Saturday, May 23, 2020, Lee Lordi, loving, youngest, sister of ten siblings and devoted aunt to many, passed away at age 105 years old.
Ms Lordi was born on August 27, 1914 in Newark, New Jersey to Peter and Rosina Lordi who immigrated from Buccino, Italy to the United States in 1878 and were married in 1887.
Lee could be defined, by her fifty years of service, as the voice of New Jersey Institute of Technology, as the reception operator, but Lee Lordi was much more than a dedicated employee. She was a selfless woman, who never missed a niece or nephew's birthday, Baptism, Confirmation, Wedding or celebration. "Aunt Lee" was always there to give never to take. As said, Lee was selfless. Her last words, before passing, were "have some coffee and a piece of cake".
Lee Lordi passed into paradise, just one mile, from where she was born. Lee touched many people's hearts, through her voice, her touch, her smile, her presence and spirit. Her spirit will live into the future, both in heaven and here on earth.
Lee was preceded in death, by her father and mother and brothers Pasquale, Joseph, Patsy, Nicolas, Anthony, Dominic, Frank and sisters Jennie, Jeanette and beloved Lucy. She is survived by nephews, Charles Lippey, and wife Marie and Peter Lordi, and wife Stephanie, and many close and devoted great nieces and nephews.
