Her death may not have been registered, and Leeds General Cemetery (searched) was open by the mid-1830s so she may not have been buried in a churchyard.

Chapel Allerton church, the family's favourite, would have listed her as Mary, wife of John Bumby, and Ancestry only deal with straight names! So, all wives called Mary are just recorded by their first name. I've checked through all the remotely suitably aged (b1786-1819) Mary burials recorded 1834-1840, and she was not among them.
