I have no brothers or sisters and nor did my dad.
Mum died when I was 6 years old and dad never remarried.
Dad died 2 years ago.
I never lived with dad again after mum died, ..so cousins, uncles and aunts nephews and nieces have been very thin
on the ground on my side of the family, and this has always bothered me
After emigrating in 1925 neither my Grandma Dorcas or grandpa Fred (jr) or dad ever went back
to England, and none of Freds rellies ever visited here. So there was very little contact and thus little information gleaned.
