3856 Pte Bishop W.J. died on his way to Field Ambulance. his
body was returned to the Battalion and buried this morning
in the local Cemetery with full military honors [sic]

districtued to men. Supplemented bu Puddings &c from Battalion
Funds, Sergts Dinner. Officers Dinner Xmas night. Brigadier and
Staff attended. Major General Cox inspected Battalion Gun and saw
the men at Dinner.
Special leave has been given to selected men since the Battalion has beeb at FLESSELLES to Visit AMIENS. this has been much appreciated. no cases of Absence without leave have occurred. men were medically treated on their return |
