The accused 2nd. Lieutenant J.W.Mayersbeth, 48th.
Australian Battalion, an Officer of a Colonial Force raised
by Order of his Majesty, and serving under the orders of an
Officer of the regular Forces, is charged with -

Sect. 40.   1.  When on Active Service Conduct to the prejudice of
good order and Military Discipline,
in that he, in the field, on June 17th. 1916, drank with
3055 Private W.H.Hoskins and other Non-commissioned Officers
and men of the 48th. Australian Battalion.
Sect. 40.   2.  When on Active Service Conduct to the prejudice of
good order and Military Discipline,
in that he, in the field, on June 17th., 1916, offered to fight
No. 3055 Pte. W.H.Hoskins, 48th. Australian Battalion.
Sect. 19.   3.  When on Active Service
Drunkeness
in that he, in the Field, on June 17th., 1916., was drunk.
