McKINDLAY-LINTON

The marriage was celebrated on Thursday afternoon at the bride's home in Oak Grove, Malvern, of Miss Vair Linton and Mr. James Leslie Mc Kindlay, Hazeldean, Womboota, N.S.W. The bride, who is well-known as a singer, is the daughter of Mrs. Jessie Linton, Malvern and Maffra, and the bridegroom is the only [son] of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. McKindlay, Balfron, Echuca. Both the bride and groom were unattended. The ceremony was performed, by the Rev. W. Johnson. A frock of saxe blue silk crepe was worn by the bride, beneath a coat of red velvet. Her bonnet-shaped hat and accessories matched her coat, in which was pinned a shoulder spray of matching fuchsias. She was given away by her brother, Mr. Arnold Linton, of Maffra.
