At the church service Kevin Milich paid a moving tribute to his wife Jacky.

Jacky was educated at Tenby Greenhill School, and from there went on to Pembrokeshire Technical College.

She worked for her parents in their retail business at Saundersfoot.

After marrying her husband, Kevin, in 1996, the couple moved from Sageston and built a house and settled in Milford Haven.

Jacky loved the challenge of establishing a garden at her new home, and it was her love of gardening that saw her gain employment at St Ishmaels Garden Centre. It was here that her hardening skills were developed, as she soaked up the knowledge and experience of the Tish Garden Centre proprietors, Heather and the late David Phippen.

She left the garden centre in 2007 and began work as a learning support assistant at the Meads Nursery School. This was hr perfect job, and she had definitely found her niche in life. She was such a friendly, warm, kind hearted person that she gained the respect and love of all the pupils, staff and parents.

Outside of work, Jacky's main interest were her family. She loved the family holidays in Tenerife, and long summer days were often spent at Broad Haven South beach, one of her favourite places.

Jacky was very creative and in her spare time would paint watercolour landscapes, and most of her family are privileged to own a Jacky Milich original.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Chemotherapy Day Unit, Withybush Hospital c/o the manager, Natwest Bank, Milford Haven.
