The death of Mr. Charles Edward Miller, loving husband of Lavinia (Settle) Miller, of 301 Heatherway, occurred on Saturday, November 30, 2002 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born February 5, 1923 in Toronto, Ontario he was the son of the late Robert and Marion (Lindsey) Miller.
Charles had served as a RCNVR in WWII and retired as a Tool and Die Maker for UNB Fredericton.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son Robert Charles of Ontario; two daughters Charlene (Douglas) Parfitt of Saint John and Laura Miller Allan (Michael); step son Gary Cascone; step daughter Carol Ranieri all of Ontario; five grandchildren Scott, Kelly, Crystal, Justin and Tyler; six step grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His sister Lena Malcolm predeceased him.
The funeral service was held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (6462424) on Tuesday, December 3, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. Interment followed in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Donations made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
