Francis Pfreundschuh, 93, of Lakewood, formerly of Beachwood, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at Harrogate, Lakewood.
Born in Astoria, Queens, N.Y., he resided in Beachwood before moving to Lakewood in 1994. He was a buyer for the Public Service Building, Washington, D.C. for many years; and was a World War II Navy veteran. He was also a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Toms River, Toms River Yacht Club, as well as the Toms River Country Club.
Predeceased by his first wife, Eileen, in 1998, he is survived by his wife, Jean; a brother, Howard of Jensen Beach, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21 at Christ Episcopal Church, 415 Washington St., Toms River. Interment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, Toms River, is in charge of arrangements.
