£1240 FURS STOLEN

MELBOURNE, Fri: Furs, jewellery and other property valued at £1300 were stolen late yesterday from the home, in Toorak, of Mrs. Mildred Speed, wife of proprietor Donald Speed, of Autoterms Ltd., Melbourne.

The property included an ermine coat worth £800, a lambskin coat (£200), a silver fox coat (£150), a silver fox bolero (£90), binoculars (£23) and two strings of pearls, bracelets and earrings.
