In the matter of the estate of Sarah E Broadbent deceased GRANT OF ADMINISTRATION.

On reading and filing the petition, duly verified, of Benjamin F. Broadbent of the County of Cook, in the State of Illinois, from it appears to the Court that Sarah E Broadbent of Chicago in said county, died intestate on or about the Seventh day of February A.D. 1891, leaving personal property and effects in said County, the value of which does not exceed the sum of Sixteen Hundred Dollars; that the petitioner is a son of said decedent, and prays that he may be appointed to administer upon said estate.

And it appearing to the Court that all the allegations of said petition are true, on motion, it is ordered that the said Benjamin F. Broadbent be appointed administrator of the estate of the said Sarah E Broadbent deceased upon filing his bond as such administrator in the penal sum of Thirty Two Hundred Dollars, with good and sufficient surety, conditioned as the law directs.

Whereupon said Benjamin F. Broadbent presents his said bond, duly executed with Fred. M Kummerow and Paul Falkenberg as his sureties, and takes and subscribes the oath of office as such administrator. And the Court having examined said sureties, and being satisfied of their responsibility, it is ordered that said bond be received and approved, and that

And it is further ordered that ? H Scharenberg, Chas M. Smith and John H Bateman be appointed to appraise the personal estate of said decedent subject to appraisement, and that a warrant be issued to them therefor.

NB - there are also Executor's Bond, Executor's Oath and Letters Testamentary.

These are a printed form completed on 20 February 1891 by Benjamin F Broadbent.

The bond was for $3200.

Benjamin's and Paul Falkenberg's addresses are given as 133 Augusta Street.

Fred M Kummerov's address is given as 533 West Chicago Avenue.

Sarah E Broadbent is said to have died on or about 7 February 1891.
