A Memorial to be registered of a Deed made the seventeenth day of November one thousand eight hundred and sixty
Between Alexander Tidswell of Ovenden in the Parish of Halifax in the County of York Green Grocer (Eldest Son and Heir at Law of John Tidswell late of Ovenden aforesaid Weaver deceased who died intestate) of the one part and John Wilson of Forest Cottage in Ovenden in the Parish of Halifax aforesaid Gentleman of the other part
Of and concerning All that piece or parcel of land or ground being part of an allotment or piece of land or ground situate and being in Ovenden aforesaid heretofore conveyed to John Bates by William Mitchell of Booth Town since deceased
which said piece or parcel of land or ground hereby released contains in length by estimation from North to South forty four yards and in breadth from East to West eight yards and in the whole three hundred and fifty yards or thereabouts be the same more or less
and is bounded on the East by property now or late belonging to Henry Miles
on the North by land now or late the property of Elkanah Priestley
on the West partly by a Garden now or late the property of Jonas Tidswell and partly by a Wall separating the same from other property now or late belonging to the said John Bates
and on the South by a lane leading from Ovenden Cross to Wheatley
And also all that cottage or dwellinghouse with the outbuildings and appurtenances to the same belonging erected and built upon the said plot piece or parcel of land and is now in the tenure or occupation of the said Alexander Tidswell and of James Priestley Together with the appurtenances
And which said Indenture as to the due execution thereof by the said Alexander Tidswell and John Wilson was witnessed by Joseph Henry Dickinson of Ovenden aforesaid Commercial Clerk and John Edwin Sutcliffe Atkinson of Halifax aforesaid Clerk to George Edwards of the same place Solicitor
