Mrs Emma Mason, wife of the Rev. C. Mason, formerly Methodist Minister at Womboota, who has been living retired In Echuca for some years, died yesterday evening.
The late Mrs Mason was born in Yorkshire, England, and came to Australia at an early age. Her married life extended over a period of nearly 50 years, during which time she proved to be a loyal and sympathetic helpmate in the various circuits to which her husband was appointed. Since her husband's retirement from the active ministry some years ago, she had led a very secluded life, confining her activities entirely to her home. Her illness covered a period of several months.
A service will be held in the Methodist Church at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the conclusion of which the funeral will leave for the Moama Cemetery.
