Death of a Well-Known Bradford Dentist
To-day the remains of the late Mr. John Tidswell,
surgeon dentist, of Clarendon, Bradford, will be interred. The procession
will leave the deceased gentleman's residence at one o'clock.
Mr. Tidswell was well-known in Bradford, and was
highly respected as one of the oldest dentist (sic) in Bradford, in which
sphere he did much in his time to bring about many needed reforms in the
profession. Up to four years ago he attended to business, but since that
period the care of the practice has devolved upon his son. Recently
Mr. Tidswell had a stroke, and that, combined with
his general decline, hastened his end, which took place at his residence
on Sunday. The remains will be interred at Undercliffe.
