Leonie E. Gilson, 86, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Aug. 3, 2002, in Punta Gorda.
She was born May 30, 1916, in New York City, N.Y. Mrs. Gilson moved to Punta Gorda from White Plains, N.Y. in 1977.
Survivors include a son, John (Mirella) Gilson of Miami, Fla.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Aug. 7, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
