More than twenty years ago, a very respectable and amiable woman, the wife of an intimate friend of mine, having been destroyed by the gross ignorance of one Myersback, a German quack, I was induced, partly from resentment, partly from a sense of duty to the public, to make some remarks on this miscreant race.
