Marriage Licence of Alexander Ferdinand von Mayersbach and Sarah Leigh

Appeared personally Alexander Ferdinand von Mayersbach Doctor in Physic and made Oath, that he is of the Parish of St. Andrew Holborn London a Widower

and intendeth to marry with Sarah Leigh of the Parish of St. Lawrence Pountney London Spinster a Minor aged seventeen years and upwards by and with the Consent of Richard Leigh the natural and lawful Father of the said Minor

and that he knoweth of no lawful Impediment, by Reason of any Precontract, Consanguinity, Affinity, or any other lawful Means whatsoever, to hinder the said intended Marriage and prayed a Licence to solemnize the same in the Parish Church of Saint Mary Abchurch London to which the said Parish of Saint Lawrence Pountney is united

and further made Oath that the usual Place of Abode of the said Sarah Leigh hath been in the said Parish of Saint Lawrence Pountney for the Space of four weeks last past.

Then appeared Personally Richard Leigh of the Parish of Saint Lawrence Pountney aforesaid Merchant and made oath that he is the natural and lawfully father of the said Minor and is consenting to the above herevy intended Marriage
