John's army service record on the Australian National Archives website. He enlisted in 1916 as John Bain - 30th Battn Australian Imperial Force and returned to England. It explains the photograph of the three Wiltberger brothers in army unform. I cannot find records for Harry (Herman) so probably amongst the many thousands destroyed during WW2. John returned to Australia. Harry was a baker like his father. I found an H. J. Bain Baker and Confectioner shop in Fulham Road listed in old phone books, but that's all.
