Middleton Railway Museum - Computer Systems

I have put together draft proposals for two types of computer system for the museum.

The first, is for a single computer system to run the introductory presentation - the Presentation System. The objectives here are to produce a system which

The main cost of this system is the screen. Depending on the screen chosen it is believed that this system would cost between £2,000 and £5,000.

The second, is for a number of computers which would allow visitors to obtain more information about the railway, its history, the exhibits, etc. - the Kiosk System. The objectives here are to produce a system which

It is believed that an adequate system could be produced, supporting two independent screens, for as little as £800, provided someone is prepared to build the cabinets needed to house the systems.

Note that prices given are only examples and are probably already out of date. Prices do not include VAT.
