Elizabeth Bebbington died Intestate
Ann Bebbington Widow, her lawful Mother survived her
Ann Bebbington officially appointed Charles Thomas Wakefield Parry, a General Proctor of the Consistory Court of Chester, to appear before Henry Raikes Clerk Master to the Bishop of Chester, to show her renunciation of the right of Administration of the property and credits of Elizabeth Bebbington deceased.

Hannah Lea of Davenham, Joseph Lea her husband, Joseph Lea junior of Davenham and Thomas Higginson of Davenham
"are holden and firmly bound unto the Right Reverend Father in God John Bird by Divine Permission, Lord Bishop of Chester, in the Sum of twelve thousand Pounds"
to the paid to the Bishop by them, their Execs. Admins. Heirs etc.
on condition that if Hannah Leah Sister and the only other surviving relative of the first degree (Her Mother having by Instrument [?] renounced her right to administer) the true & lawful
ADMINISTRATRIX
of all etc. etc. of Elizabeth Bebbington late of Newton in the Parish of Middlewich ... deceased, Spinster without a Father living at the time of her death
do make ... a true and perfect inventory of all .... [effects] for the Registry of the Consistory Court of Chester at or before the 23rd July next, and make a true and just account of her said administration at or before the 23rd January 1840.

Ann Lea of Davenham, Spinster, the Reverend Goodwin Purcell of Charlesworth Derbyshire, and Peter Barker of Middlewich
are holden and firmly bound to John Bird Bishop of Chester, for One hundred Pounds
The Condition of this Obligation is such, That if the above bounden Ann Lea the Administratrix of Ann Bebbington deceased who was the lawful Mother and next of kin of the undermentioned Elizabeth Bebbington deceased and as such
ADMINISTRATRIX
of [the effects] of the said Elizabeth Bebbington late of Newton in the parish of Middlewich ... Spinster deceased without Father living at her death - Hannah Lea wife of Joseph Lea the lawful Sister and only other next of kin and party originally entitled in distribution and former administratrix of the goods Chattels and credits of the said Elizabeth Bebbington deceased having since died leaving certain goods unadministered and the said Ann Bebbington the Mother having since died without administering
Ann Lea has to make a true and perfect inventory of the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased and hand it in at or before the 31st May 1848 or else she loses the 100 pounds
