NOLA 3   Work commenced on repairs new barracks in Nola. These barracks had been practically completed by the enemy before evacuation but on leaving considerable destruction had been done. All staircases had been blown and the centres and ends of most blocks demolished. No roofs are weatherproof. The barracks are to be repaired to accommodate approx. 5,000 men.

  6   150 local labourers handed over to 112 Workshop & Park Coy., R.E., on hand over of road works being carried on inside ESBD.
