  13   Lt. Kilner with 16 ORS commenced work at Avella on the construction of a six company Rehabilitation Camp. The job consisting of the erection of officers' & sgts.' messes, cookhouses, administration block, canteen and welfare centre, and classrooms, all in Nissen huts. The whole to be complete with ablutions and latrines to scale.  
  15   Lt. Kilner with 30 ORs. moved out on detachment ot Avella. The Chief Engineer No. 3 District, visited the Works on this site.

NOLA 25   198 Transit Camp taken over and occupied. A number of items of work still remainto [sic] be complete.  
  26   Phase I of Welfare Centre Afragola completed to time and handed over for operation.

Afragola Welfare Centre and 198 Transit Camp inspected by the Commander, 57 Area.

 
  28   Although most of the work remains to be completed the Rehabilitation Centre moved into Avella Camp. The essentials have been completed, i.e. latrines, ablutions and cookhouses.
