Patricia Ellis and Wilfrid Barry Married Here Thursday
IN QUIET CEREMONY
The marriage of Report of Marriage of Patricia Beatrice (Pat) youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Ellis, to Mr. W. Barry, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Barry, took place quietly at St. John the Evangelist church Thursday, Rev. W. Everard Edmonds officiating.
Immediately after the reception, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. Barry took his wife to Calgary, where he is stationed with the Royal Canadian Air Force.
At the ceremony the bride wore a chic two-piece suit of fine black wool an blouse of eggshell sheer. Her hat was fairway green and her accessories black. A corsage of talisman roses completed her ensemble.
Mr. Ellis gave his daughter in marriage.
The bridesmaid, Miss Evelyn Ellis, sister of the bride, was in a burgundy brown dressmaker suit and accessories to tone. Her corsage was if sweetheart roses.
Mr. Ray Lambertson was best man.
Fifty guests attended the reception later, Mrs. Ellis receiving in cinnamon brown, with dark green hat and accessories. Mrs Barry was in hunter's green. Both wore shoulder bouquets of ophelia roses.
